Training Courses for 100 Orphans, 50 Mothers and 20 Supervisors in Senegal

The WAMY office in Senegal organized a training program that benefited 100 orphans, 50 mothers of orphans and 20 orphan supervisors.

  • Mothers: the courses focused on awareness and positive ways of caring for orphans, and opened the way for mothers to start small, profitable projects that help them become self-reliant.
  • Orphans: the courses focused on key values such as honesty, trustworthiness and good character, along with effective communication and time management.
  • Supervisors: the courses focused on providing outstanding follow-up for orphans and on problem-solving skills.

At the close of the program, participants received certificates of participation.
