The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) is an international youth organization, non-governmental and non-profit. It was founded in 1972 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be an independent Islamic platform that supports Islamic institutions and serves needy communities around the world. From its headquarters in Riyadh, its activities have expanded to more than 56 countries through active branches and offices cooperating with more than 500 youth and student organizations across five continents.
